An encumberance feature would be neat. Armor and shields can already slow a char down 5,10, or 15%, incorporating this to a character's inventory would "make sense." If worn armor n shield can slow you down 30%, then it follows carrying those same armors and shields as loot would too if not even more so. I assume our toons drop all their loot everytime they fight otherwise the mental image of a treasure ladden adventurer with 6 suits of heavy plate armor in one hand wielding their weapon with the other is just silly. Smile

Its a game, besides how heavy would a horadric sphere\cube be fully laden, or you can just imagine that every character has mary poppins hand bag!

In ragnarok online, there are 3 type penalty:
50% carry limit = you slowed down, useful for merchant hording lots of item
90% carry limit = you cant attack, making it dangerous to go out in wild
100% carry limit = you cant move.


Well, inventory already made that you cant horde all item on the ground. Adding weight penalty will make it much more worst.
Beside, there are no way to track how much inventory is filled.
And in lategame, with tons of ubercharms, you crawling like snail.

Just wanted to stop in after the forum migration. I have to say I'm excited for this mod. I haven't played Ult that much as it was... well you covered the reasons in the OP.

I've poked around for screenshots and some other commentary and it makes me a little more impatient. Good work!

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Will i be able to play the chars from ultimative version at sigma version when it releases completely, or sigma is the follower of omega which is separated from ultimative?

No.

If you want me to be honest, you shouldn't 'sit and wait' like a lot of people are doing.
There is still a long way until sigma gets released. Many months.

Like, people didn't stop playing median 2008 because MXL was coming for many years.

Aside from the chars if they r playble, will sigma be next version for ultimative, i mean the challenges and all da stuff from it will be there, or it will follow the classic median?
