char orb you want to max def on it using skulls. then go for life/reis
armor gear if you need str/dex ect added then def/reis mo's depending on stats you need, but if space aways DEF/DEX

Since prince al now drops multiple orbs, if you are playing single player you can make multiple "situational" orbs. Going to do an area that is mostly elemental spell damage and defense isn't as important? Pop back to town and get the orb whose main feature is +75% resist all.

Lifeleech is essential, as is fhr.
str is really useful in character orb in order to avoid putting stats into it until 120 when your gear will grant enough bonus stats.
but still -if possible- I would recommend avoiding to use charOrb at all.

but again a question about fauzt, necros and ahirman.
Why shouldn't it help much? Trap Rat is so far my only char being able to kill something AND stay alive in dFauzt. I use the Emerald Set just as Crepes and also was planning to rely on belt's elemental damage as I thought it would be the last option to get eleDamage without breaking the complete set...

Ghal belt is fine to use, it does give nice ele dmg, but the rocks on tu heavy are great crowd control and its a powerful skill. but when you have most items (not set) you gain enough elemental dmg from the items, but with the set belt does help a lot your correct, each to there own, I preffer the crowd control over the little bit more ele dmg imo

You could use some Zakarum jewels for rocks and use the ghal belt.

Sounds like an nice compromise Smile
Some Zakarum jewels are available, so I only have to wait some years until my first Great Rune drops^^

I have to see how many Amethysts I can afford to replace not losing maxblock

I assume, Demonstone Blood Jewels are not worth to be used to increase elemental damage?
