Yeah I got the fanged helm and upgraded only to find out that it is a Jawbone Cap. Please update, so other players may not waste their time! Not a big deal really.

Am trying this build out, hope it goes good.

Slimedrool(TU Jawbone Cap). I updated the guide with a few screenshots, and mispells a few days ago. Also you can check the offline documents of Ultimative Cool. For me it's very important do it, you can have better understanding of the equipment choices reading the full effects of the parts...Other thing, I can update the guide with my "walktrhough" of the game.... I mean, what equipment do first, what mo are used in T6 equipment, what ubers do first, etc...I need opinions.

Towards Fortress Barb:

if i could add my 2 cents, my preferable Gear:

Weapons:
*Tu Glaive Double Mo bonus with max ed% crushing blow% (up to 100% total), max damage and maybe even lifeleech. Socketed with 4 Perf Rainbow Stones

*Secret Runeword 4 Poison Glaive :
2% Chance to cast level 31 Lorenado on Striking
+(0 to 2) to All Skills
+(300 to 350)% Enhanced damage
25% Increased Attack Speed
Adds 3203-6406 poison damage over 4 seconds
+50% to Poison Spell Damage
+(12 to 16) to Fairy Ring
+(100 to 150) Life after each Kill

Adds Poison dmg, some good lak and a very nice skill- YAY FOR PROMOTING SECRET RWS

* Nimmenjushin - unmentioned, i think it deserves it

Switch Weapons:
2 Crafted 6 Socketed Barb weapons with Mark of the Wild oskill. Filled with 12 Nih runes for extra duration.

Armor:
* Natashas Legacy -nothing can compete: 4 Skills ITD up to -50% enemy resist and up to 20% dr - highest Defense - Godly- those Runes dont count for runemaster anyway.
* Khazra Plate : Deadly Strike, Crushing Blow, more life , if you can wear it why not.
* Segnitia: Time Strike on Striking: if main Skill is Snake Stance 1,5 Weap dmg modifier is godly

Belt
*Tu 6 Heavy Belt -lots of Mo space and still Good Defense, crushing blow and 1.5 Weap dmg modifier Proc on kill- why not as Endgame option.

*even SSSU Heavy Belt is a good option for 10% extra slow and lifeleech.
* SSU Plated Belt - Time Strike obviously and high dmg
*Personally id Prefer Dementia anyway.

i agree with other options

Gloves
*Facebreaker for Crushing Blow mainly
* SSSU Leather Gloves - awesome Proc and 10% DR <-- id go with these
* Blind Anger cb% Atts% and max Res -why not

Boots
I Agree with your mentioned options.
Maybe Add Lifecrusher, cb% and lak and Barb skill makes this a fairly good option.
Clawfeet for Mark of the wild bonus

Helm
Gehenna anyone ? Best Option i think

in v6b use Kraken Stance Craft ofc

Shield

Dyers Eve -Time Strike Proc for the obvious, 5% DR
Best Rings: 1 All skills Emp Band UMO Project with Endless (yes thats a dream Smile)

To Sum it up:

Dr checkpoint: 50% needed
1. Dyers Eve 5%
2. Tran Trophy 5%
3. Armor up to 21%
4. Belt 5%
5. Gloves 10%

so that 46%, considering you can lucky Belt, lucky Boots,lucky Gloves, and lucky Shield Helm you can get 50% Smile

-enemy res checkpoint- CLF -199% // -100% Psn
Avatar +3 -3% enemy res Jewels: -59% clf / 0 Psn
natashas Legacy: up to -50% so we got -109% clf / -50% Psn
Dementia : Up to -25% // -134 clf// -75% Psn
Charms: Island of the sunless Sea : -15% //-149clf//-65% Psn
Astrogha Tropy: -5% // -154% clf // -70% Psn
Sunstone of the Elements -10% clf // -164% clf // -70% Psn
2 Emp Band Endless Projects 8*-3 => -48% // -212% elf//-118% Psn

so this one is reachable !

Crushing Blow

5% Iotss
20% Ancient Repositories
20% from Tu 6 Glaive
20% from P Rainbow Stones
15% Lifecrusher
20% from the Sleep

100% Smile As i assume you cant get them all, Mo rest to Weap

Towards Weapon : 5 Mystic orb for 350% ed 1 for double Mo Bonus so that lvl Req of 65.
15 Mystic Orb for 300 Max dmg => Lvl Req 95
12 Mystic orb Lifeleech => lvl Req 119 (ofc max Cb Before !)

Thanks for this great feedback. I will update Late game equipment, cause mid/early can't count with charms like Ancient repositories,...I still don't make Nathasha Legacy new RW cause I don't know how 1 Ultra rune is maked. Explain me plz, my char need this armor, for def and -res.

This is among the most boring builds in the game for how powerful it is. Newcomers beware.

There's no aiming involved, no swapping skills to take out immunes, and you actually lose efficiency juggling Fortress with other skills. You pretty much just walk around and cast this one skill over and over. Like a bot.

OK, I respect your opinion, But I don't share it. Let me explain:
-In Hatred and Terror levels you are SOOO powerful and imba. You don't need use TS or the other melee skills...It's your decision for speed killing the use of that skills.
-In DEST the things are very diferent. For an efficient farming of Duncraig, you MUST use TS(and the other melée skills). For bosses killing(heroic shields, etc) you need deal heavy damage(or do the kill in 1-2 hours), so melee skils are used. My favourite is SOR. Other thing: YOU CAN ACTUALLY DIE IN DEST, colateral damage is serious(corpse explosions, etc), so change of SS to ES it's mandatory in certain parts. If you use the new community set, then casting pyroblast eat all your maná in 2-3 cast, so ES all time it's recomended. For KS+RM barb(I do 1 time ago, having 1M of defense, 15k of life 4.5-11k of ele dam, etc) the dance between stances maybe ridiculus, but NOT for this build, Actually my defense is near 375k using the new set, and 300k using mid game gear. So this char in dest it's far from being imbalanced like a bot. In fact, his play is based in keeping stunned/slowed(see the TU balanced axe proc) the screen or he dies. SO usually I see 1 group of monsters; I cast 1 fortress, walk, stun them with TS, I back a little, cast new fortress, wait for the next TS cooldown, and the Blast wave proc help in reach that time safety. If I fail in a place like TA, I die.
Conclusion: play the build in ubers, or play it in DEST...You can test wich he is an balanced build.
For the not aiming: I'M AN LAZY PLAYER. I'm not an soldier, I'm an tactical general. cast fortress let me see the enemy movements/instant kill effects more clearly and dogde/counter them. For that reason, I think wich this build it's perfect for newcomers...
