Already done, and as a matter of fact, I had posted an (unfinished) screenshot of the changed realm GUI in this topic...
It only showed the main lobby GUI, but at this point it's pretty obvious the rest gets changed with it... Rolling Eyes

Thanks for resurrecting this thread when I have no screenshots to show.

This is for computer-dumb people. I don't want to see 7584375483 threads asking "wut is mai Diablo II instal directery lawl??", oh god, NO.

To use this installer, all you need is to have Diablo II installed on your computer, running on version 1.13c. The program handles the rest at this point.
To detect if you meet these requirements, it first checks if the registry key "InstallPath" exists in the Diablo II registry keys, and then checks the file version of Game.exe in the said directory.

Option 1 is full install, as in, you never played the mod yet and need a full install. This downloads the full install package from the server, creates the required registry keys, etc. This will also check if you already have the mod installed and prevent you from continuing if you do so (you either want to uninstall or use the update option here, not reinstall everytimes)

Option 2 is the quick update, as in, you have the mod installed but an update is available. No need to uninstall and re-install using the option 1, that would be unecessary download and execution time. This option downloads the update package from the server (lighter in size than the full install package... or at least it should be unless every single file of the package have to be updated somehow), and does the necessary fixups (in other words this likely only download and replace patch_d2.mpq, along with D2Sigma.dll)

Option 3, full uninstall. Deletes sigma registry data, deletes the mod, etc.

----

The program also has detailed error reporting in order to help with possible issues while installing/updating

The program doesn't allow for any kind of customization, like where you would like to have the mod installed and what not (example, your main d2 installation doesn't run on 1.13c and you want to install the mod on a side d2 clone folder). There will be a guide for manual installation, meant for more advanced users that would like a little more customized installation. Remember this installer is meant for people who don't even know what their Diablo II directory is.

fak u. My computer isn't ready for modding yet and I had nothing to do.
Might as well get this done.

That was funny though. Have a cookie.

I like the idea about the installer, but it should look sexy and have a gui instead of being an ugly batch file.
