To start off, the more technical changes. Due to the way runewords work in MXL, 6 lines have to be created for every single new runeword. I hope you can clarify something about this part about Runewords in unique items that have such a property and how in depth it can go.

Does this mean that there will be items that allow for multiple instances of a runeword in them?  For instance take the boots in the picture that has the property "Allows up to Level 25 Runewords", could an item have the property "Allows up two to Level 25 Runewords" where the runewords would be determined by the last two socketed runes?  Or even a mix of the two "Allows up to two Level 25 Runewords or one Level 40 Runeword" as a possibility?  I'm kind of hopeful for the possibility of a weapon that is unique but with literally no properties other than having six sockets that can hold up to six Level 10 runewords.

No. What the stat does, in simpler words, is making the item like a "grey item" in terms of eligibility for runewords. (Although it doesn't literally change of quality, an unique item stays unique). Except it has a limitation on the level of runewords that will work once socketed into them.

The realm now ensures you're using the right version when connecting (this retrieves the version from the server and compares with the version you're using). This is to hopefully stop newbies reporting errors coming from them not using the right patch version.

Excellent feature! However to be more "newbie proof" is it not possible to perform this check  upon clicking the TSW button in the main menu rather than ingame? Kind of how battle.net checks game version and tells you to sod off if not on 1.13d.

That's likely how it will be done eventually. I just tested it quickly in-game as a "proof of concept"
