On TSW, why does my character have a light gray tone when I'm in the menus? It started happening after D2SE bugged out once.

Does doom and the void archon field over write one another?

It is known that doom damage is triggered by singularity. Do other physical damage spells also trigger doom damage?

For a bow druid, is force of nature even worth bothering with (for what? a few hundred damage?)

I checked and i'm fairly sure Faerie Fire activates Ctc on striking stuff (arrows for example), does Faerie Fire also work with CTC on attack modifiers? (Glacial nova from Toorc's gift or Time strike for example)

@stoya wrote:well depends, for end game chars with most charms and good items, EWD modifier is always better than ED but for early mid game ED > EWD imo..

This is my calculation about ED and EWD.

Original Final Damage = [Base*OED+Base]*[SkillED+StatED+TCD]+[Base*OED+Base], OED= original ED on the weapon.

suppose X ED mos are moed, as well as EWD mos on the same weapon.

So,

Final Damage with ED = [Base*OED+Base]*[SkillED+StatED+TCD]+[Base*(OED+X*0.15)+Base],

Final Damage with EWD = [Base*OED+Base]*[SkillED+StatED+TCD+X*0.1)]+[Base*OED+Base],

and

D1= Final Damage with ED - Original Final Damage= Base*X*0.15,

D2= Final Damage with EWD - Original Final Damage= [Base*OED+Base]*X*0.1 = Base(1+OED)*X*0.1

then D2 - D1= Base(1+OED)*X*0.1- Base*X*0.15 = Base*X*[(1+OED)*0.1-0.15] =Base*X*(0.1*OED-0.05)

if D2- D1>0 ,then OED>0.5, and OED gets more higher, the result of (D2-D1) is more bigger.

so if Im right, normally, EWD is much better than ED, whatever in early game or end game.

Wrong:
ED caps at 350% no matter on what so you need to put ed mo to hit 350% cap.
If WD = base weapon damage without any ed bonuses then:
Final damage = WD*((basedED/100)*(skillED+statED+1)) and nothing more so with ed and ewd mos:
Damage1= WD*(((baseED+15)/100)*(skillED+statED+1)/100) with 1 ed mo
Damage2= WD*((baseED/100)*(skillED+statED+1+10)/100)) with 1 ewd mo
And it will be not so easy to calculate Damage1-Damage2 so you calculate all wrong Razz.
EDIT: ofc you must understand that baseED<350 and baseED+x*15<350 where x= times you used 15 ed mo.
EDIT2:Damage1 - Damage2 = WD*((skillED+statED+1)*0,15 -baseED*0.1)/100 so you can see that there are huge differences between them that based on all parameters : skillED,statED,baseED.
