Torchlight 2

I think it's a solid game and the modding possibilities can help offer new ideas for the upcoming Sigma mod.

I played the demo of it and will soon buy it for me + a friend.

I played it on the hardest difficulty as beserker and had alot of fun. Beserker feels very easy to play though. This is because at level one you have two abilities to regain %hp overtime. One of them is a wolf shadow dash, that deals low dps damage but regains hp and is a great escape/assassination method with a low mana cost at 1 point. The second one is a passive that grants hp on crits, which synergizes with the fury bonus of gaining a massive crit chance, making it feel like you are the boss fight.

I have yet to play the other three classes, due to the fact that I did not notice any other %hp regen spells at all. I enjoy being a tanky wolf assassin :3

Also protip: On that difficulty, dont prioritze defensive stats purely, go mainly damage and some defense. I went and maxed the shadow dash and had little damage output and died as a result (hardcore) on the last demo boss cause I had no burst damage to build up fury (50% wep dps sucks).

From what I've heard, the Beserker is just a squishier version of an Engineer. More survivability issues for the Beserker with pretty much similar damage output. Again just going by what I've heard. I've,so far, tried the Embermage and Outlander whom both were fun so far.

Another thing I forgot to mention that thunder claws (chain lightning auto attacks) also carries crits. So fully charged fury + having thunder claws at higher levels results in you being an assassin from mxl having a shiteton of lifesteal.

Finally someone said it right Razz I got like a bunch of requests to start modding TL2, but I'm not using my MXL ideas for TL, instead, if I played TL I'd do it the opposite way.
Maybe I'll give it a try to open up my mind but I'm wondering something:

are gfx isometric 2D or shitty 3D ? I hate "cheap 3d" graphics, like Diablo 3 has. It looks like cartoons / anime.

It has more cartoonyish graphics than D3 but it is something to not hold it back on really.
