Started playing recently. Pretty cool. My only complaint are the mostly "meh" items. Everything else has nice touches that make the game enjoyable, even moreso than TL1.

The core game is boring after a few hours. Synergies is a must have mod.

I took a break from TL2,started playing it again recently with a new character and it's still fun as hell. My only complaint is that it's horribly optimized,at least for more-than-1 core processors(you can have a core i7 and it still can drop below 20fps in fights). Even with shadows off(which gives me +5-10fps depending on the area)I still can't get a stable framerate,it goes below 30 in fights, sometimes below 20,like on that first act boss fight...and there's no fix apparently. 60 fps in towns tho. :S

"Old core i5"

Yeah, right. I have an AMD dual core thingy, 2,6GHz(so it's ancient I guess),worse than yours but the game should run flawlessly w/ maxed settings just like the first game did. Just look at the sys requirements, they're hilariously low,yet I actually get a slightly lower average framerate than in Diablo 3(and D3 looks pretty damn impressive,I'll give them that).

Just take a look at this: http://forums.runicgames.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=33879

That's sound quite strange :s

Do you play with some mods like Synergies? I heard it adds so much effects you need a solid machine to play with

I had tons of fun playing this with my roommate whilst screaming inane remarks and playing weird and nigh-impossible build. Simple? yes. Fun? doubly so. Haven't had the chance to try out some mods, though.
