Fraps for recording + SonyVegas for editing/polishing.

I prefer OBS, it's free/open source, and has a lot of features. It's constantly being upgraded/fixed.

Does OBS have the option to write to multiple drives?

DXtory beats every other software hands down no questions asked (due to above). Plus with dxtory you really can't see any frame drop/slowdown while recording. Only downside is you can't record desktop, so playing d2 windowed is out.

You mean to make copies to multiple locations or to write different parts in multiple folders?

If preserving free space is your concern, OBS can allow you to save the file to a single location, but during recording there is no raw video file, it's already being encoded, so you won't see a couple of gigs files for 30s recording.

In OBS you can either capture: monitor, window, game or video capture device.

I meant writing to multiple different hard drives while recording one video so if you have 4x HDs that can each write 150 MB/s = total write speed = 600 MB/s.

marco and wotan already said 'sony vegas' works wonders but my pc unable to work it Smile but after i watched jun(korcola) and marco's videos i can say sony vegas must be best for editing. editing videos is the worst part of my all videos for now, i hope you make eye candy videos after reset.
