Glide Problem

Post by kjakola on Fri Aug 16, 2013 6:56 pm

I have a question regarding Glide if anyone has experience with this issue.

I have the following settings CHECKED:

Settings:

Keep aspect ratio
VSYNC
no fps limit
no static size

Parameter:

108MB texture-memory
1024 by 1024 buffer texture size
32 bit rendering
texture for videos
bilinear filtering
shader-gamma

I'm playing in fullscreen and whenever I open my inventory, my cursor jumps to the left. Its annoying. I've read in the Glide forums that there is a fix for this issue in windowed by adding the "-w -3dfx" in the game properties. However, I don't want to run in windowed since it doesn't fit my whole 27" inch monitor, just a little square of it.

I want to play in fullscreen, because of the screen size limitations of windowed mode, but I'm still encountering the inventory bug. Could anyone help me with this please?

Thanks

Did you try using other gfx modes? (d3d, ddraw)
If on glides forums they know only the "-w" solution then probably it's the only one...

Anyway if u are really determinated you can write easy autoit script which should work like this:
- hijack pressing the "i" button
- store mouse position
- send "i" keypress to d2 handle
- restore mouse position

(This is just pure guessing, cuz I don't know how really looks this mouse bug)

edit: 200 post and where is the promised half naked chick? :/

I've never found how to fix that bug 'natively' (script solution should do though)
