Kraken has already been used as a 3 element damage stance.

How about "Rage of the Ocean(or Sea)"?

Cause vitality/life buff is what necros need.

Also we are not suppose to comment/criticize on others suggestions.
But I suppose this wont be the first time someone didn't read the rules applied for a certain thread/section.

Obligatory Charm-type Suggestions:
Based on my experience playing a necromancer, I think these skill would be fun to have, but not just for him, any class could utilize them in some fashion.

Skill Name: Attract
Type:: Curse
Class:: Any class
Mechanics: Target monster attracts other nearby monsters in a radius into attacking it. Skill works by holding down attack button (similar to the uber skill Black Mass).
Skill should:
** Work based on a percentage that increases with soft points (such as cLod Conviction)
** Radius expands based on hard skill points if possible
** Of course, in reality the skill really works by charming monsters around the target, not the target itself, so while the "attack" is centered on a figure, that figure is not effected while those around it are giving the impression that monster has attracted other monsters.
** Bosses and super uniques should be immune to being charmed if they are not the target.

Skill Name: Repeal
Type:: Curse
Class:: Any Class
Mechanics: Pretty much just a fancy version of "cause enemy to flee" with a small chance to cause death per frame, however like the skill listed above, it should have the same mechanics where you must hold down the button to cast and a target must be chosen.
Skill Should:
** Fear works based on a percentage that increases with soft points (such as cLod Conviction)
** Radius does not expand
** Percent to cause instant death should start low and increase based on hard skill points if possible with diminishing returns (this is basically a chance to cause "x" damage obviously)
** Mana cost should be prohibitively expensive so that even with extreme amount of mana regeneration, mana quickly depletes
** Bosses and super uniques should be immune to both the fear and death effects

Skill Name: Fascinate
Type:: Curse
Class:: Any Class
Mechanics: A fancy version of "blindness" that causes target area where clicked in a radius to go blind, however this spell also works where you must hold down the mouse button to cast.
Skill Should:
** While "fascinating" targets, caster looses all defense (can be explained as his VooDoo stare or something)
** Hard skill points increase radius if possible
** Soft skill points increase percent of skill working

Other Ideas:

Skill Name: Dance of the Dead
Type:: Passive
Class:: Any
Mechanics: This passive causes dead monsters to raise as skeletons with HP and Damage scaled to character level.
** Hard skill points increase chance dead monster turns

Skill Name: Everlasting Life
Type:: ??
Class:: oskill
Mechanics: There are no healing "spells" players can cast in this game. So why not add one that works similar to how the druid vine worked, and how the Rogue's Vindicate spell work where all dead bodies on screen are turned into hit points for the player and party when the spell is cast. What limits this spell from being OP is the fact that it requires dead bodies to heal.
** Each dead body should heal a set amount based on soft skill points

More Ideas; Less Defined:

How about some skills based on cLod skill mechanics that are not in median, such as Smite, Charge, and of course Kicks (i.e. Dragon Tail)? I know kicks have been talked about to death, but variations of these cLod skills could add a vast amount of variety in skill choices.

*CHARGE with an area of effect attack on the target at the end of the charge
*SMITE that pushes back in a line like Wall of Force
*CANNON: Skill that you "shoot" and explosion causes you to fly backwards; the skill will use -FRW with charge to make you charge backwards, and the payoff is an explosion from the muzzle area, and a straight beam that does massive damage.

Anyways, brain too tired to think up any more ideas. Good night.

Change Freezing Gale

Post by Garacaius on Thu May 09, 2013 5:08 pm

Skill Name: Freezing Gale(yes the level 24 ele druid skill)
Class: Druid
Mechanics: Greatly increase mana cost but add a knockback effect. By doing that, freezing gale becomes an utility skill and a life saver/panic button when you got surrounded. Also you can stunlock monsters against walls.

Skill Name: bubonic plague
Type::curse
Class:: nec
Mechanics: Single target curse that poisons the target; on death the target will rupture spreading the plague.

Skill Name: ???
Type:: passive
Class:: oskill/ or sorc
Mechanics: You create a shield that makes you lose mana instead of life but in exchange it will set your life to 1 - 1000 and lose mana regen by a % (Depending on hard points)

I can't think of a name for the second one.
