Stat point efficiency.

Ok I have asked many people on the server so far and have had many different answers.

On my assassin if i have max block chance,reach all of my str req for gear and I do not lose any damage from what is listed in my charecter window.

Should i dump all my extra stat points into vitality?

Assuming all the things you have listed are true, then yes. Can't hurt.

One more thing. Does spell damage increase the sins way skills damage? I've been told yes

Yes, it increases the Ways damage added to weapons, not the total % though which are based off of hard/soft skillpoints.

Okay you never heard  that character screen(CS) damage discription lie hard?
If you maxed spider way and it gives + poison spell dmg% so your real damage will be much lower because your CS will show:( flat poison dmg)  x (poison spell dmg), same goes for fire/light/cold. Sins use weapons with dex bonuses so more dex more damage and that + 1000 dmg will be hidden in those 200-300k of  false poison damage.
As for puting stats in vit , some ppl do that only for curtain ubers like ureh/etc.
Edit: spell damage bonuse increase your flat elemental damage but only for your weapon swings, aor of nagi will benefit from that( correct me if im wrong but this mist be true), but not a claw or a throw knife.

Only initial melee hit benefit from spell damage - any ranges/aoe etc don't.

Where do you even take this info from? To me it seems like it increases the flat elemental damage granted by the skill (haven't looked at files...), which is weapon damage... meaning anything that carries weapon modifiers will apply the said damage.
