A good idea (response please)

So im doing some uberquests for charms and farming.

it realy gets tiering running the same path for the bosses/farms . My idea is (Don't know if it's even possible or if anyone else wants it... but)

To make a sort of waypoint near all the uberquests, bosses. Like a switch waypoint side for bosses. Iv'e seen these waypoints in other mods and to be honest it was kinda nice to not run for an hour in yshari.

And i know that it's tooooo easy to just put up a waypoint near bosses. But if there's some kinda catch?

Alternatives can be discussed but..

1: You have to kill the boss/do the uber before getting the waypoint
2: Your have to craft some kind of materia from elite creatures in the map your in to make the waypoint
3: you have to just be lazy and go get the waypoint.


As i wrote far up - this is just an idea that iv'e had...
No offense to the mod makers or anything , i realy like this mod and it's awesome and has a great form of varies that no other mod have..

Well of course it's made on purpose...
But after you have done it once , it's not as funny rushing the whole way again..
That's where the idea with "Do the boss to recieve waypoint" idea came from..

Your suggestion was made with good intentions, so I may as well explain why you're getting all these downvo- er, -cookies.

1. Just because something has been done in some other mod, does not mean it can be done in MXL! MXL is made in a different way, for various reasons, and that means you're never going to see some of the features you see in other mods. "I saw this in X mod, please put it in MXL" is the worst sort of suggestion and tends to make the modmakers very angry. Be careful when using it next time.

2. A lot of the ubers are long for a reason. It's supposed to be time-consuming to get to the end, and your character is supposed to be able to get to the end safely killing everything (or running past!) in the way. Imagine how silly level challenge 1 would be if each Amazon Priestess would be by herself in separate rooms, one after the other, immediately accessible from the entrance!

Finally, let me add that there actually are still several areas that are completely unnecessary and add no extra challenge in getting to the uberlevel. Eg: Caves level 1, Swampy Pits level 1-2, The Hole 1, etc. There's a strong case for removing them eventually, so maybe that'll happen as more areas are used for uberlevels (although really there's no reason not to do them right now, aside from the work involved).
