Farming characters.

Post by IVIike on Wed Jan 22, 2014 2:16 pm

I have tried a few different builds on different chars,
I have a great druid who can farm near every where, but a lot of places he is slow,
I made a java for fautz ect, great kill speed but 1-2 hits and am dead, even with the following items
Helepolic(20% DR)
hell rain
damnuku
hratlis craft
ghal belt
crafted boots/gloves (to get max block)
all my gear has gems in for the Uber skill for +life
on switch I have quaraks for BL buff
I have a lot of charm but not all the charms so I still need a lot,

I have tried a assa throw/ and nagi, but again I still cant seem to do a lot, here I only have 68% block but 1 hit kills me,

now I am looking for a char that can farm Sewers in a3 easy(cheese it)
also to do fautz dest/ and dunc

I am after some ideas on chars to make and help with items pls, I have had a few ideas but I seem to be wasting my time tryiong them as they suck

chars I have tried are:
pounce ama/java ama(fgairy ring/ricochet)
My trap rat druid
Summon necro(was good for some places CFM ect, but I found slow other places that I needed
(never made a barb for years)
(never made a pala since old akarat palas got nerfed)

ideas please, if you think 1 of them I have tried is good, pls tell me what is good to use(not OP stuff that no1 can afford)

Thanks!

Javazon with Paragon is kinda retarded option especially for Fauzt. Get Curare.
Last time I was farming with Javazon in Fauzt I used Smax Curare and Smax EF.
Javazon is also really good for farming Vizjun.
For Fauzt make sure to precast Moonbeam when fighting big groups (which is most of the time).

e: As for sewers theres nothing better than Bowzon... can't die. ALl you need is a crafted bow with ctc throw knife or arrows and decent %LL (32+).

For java twas something like this
Skillplan Jabazon (Amazon, 2012 v005)

Kra RW in double MO Javelin
Natalia Armor
Danmaku
Ylfa
The amu was rare until I found beads, and I cant quite remember the rest of the gear.
You can also put points into Defensive Harmony (10-15)
For Vizjun I just respec'd from Curare to Paragon.

Fortress barbarran using hit and run tactics...Cast fortress with SS, run to wall/corners cause it's stupid try tank the elementals hits...switching to Stance to KS if you use KS/RM combo, or keep SS if you use NW+ES+SS... Eventually you clean all place...Pay attention and play carefull, cause 2-3 hits=dead character even with 15k of HP...

Dude, he said farming, not boring himself in a single run. Javazon if played right can clear the entire level in 5 min. While Fortress barb needs more than 15.

No, precast moonbeam then proceed forward that way when you walk into a pack of mobs you wont die. The main thing to remember and you should practice is precast moonbeam, cause its your savior. 1xAdrenaline rush ring helps a lot with moonbeams duration and improves your KS greatly. I used 2xDer Nebelring, cause of lack of Adrenaline rush.
Basic concept of EF over Balance is that Necrobots will still hit you with defense or not, Harpies will rarely survive or they will be in hit recovery, and the other fuckers (the melee ones) will rarely to never be able to reach you.

You're right... However, playing like stoya, using fortress the total amount of time is <10 mins.. Tested.

Yeah, but while my java's gear is full of lum runes for %MF your barb is full with jw's and runes for survivability/ks. So kinda double win for the java on that one. Wink
