I used to play on Eternal a loong time ago. I got bored of WoW in general though after getting to 80 on a couple of chars on live servers. Idk if playing WoW is really worth my time though, most guilds are kind of stupid and it's difficult to find one that is both serious and allows newer players.

I played a lot of WoW, got a 85 lock which have a pretty decent gear, but i stoped in cata because lock was a really low dps,who need a lot of combo and ''the right situation'' to do okay dps. I pvped a lot..like..a lot. But still lock was too squishy but still i was doing well.

The only problem in WoW is that its really for nolifer,i mean, if you play all day everyday, you will have godly gear, and pwn everyone will lower gear, because it matter THAT much, and if you stop for 3 months,a new season will come, and everyone will already have better gear while doing nothing then you had while doing more than 200 battlegrounds.

Also there's no place to imagination, you cant really gear ''special''. You are an affliction lock, you are geared like that. Thats it.

I've played WoW for 4 years on the officials (canceled my subscription right before Icecrown Citadel ) ... then i played on Molten WoW for a while , but WotLk is the worst expansion for me and i got bored really fast , although i managed to level up 4 80's with max professions and decent gear. Rdx i assume you have played on Frostwolf ? All my characters were there. Then i gave them to a friend.

I play WoW for couple of months (i think less than 6 months) for game researching purpose. As latecomer, joined only after cataclysm i find that WoW is much more nicer than my old MMO experience which developed by korean which focused too much on grinding.

WoW is kinda grinding, but at least i dont spend few days in same area as i can do quest, killing mobs while queueing instance / pvp at same time. But i can see why some old hardcore hate that WoW heading toward newbie / casual direction.

Havent touch MoP, i wish i have good internet connection at my current place to play it. I think there are christmas promotion for it as well. I might grab if i got time to play it (got too much commitment currently).

Yup on Frostwolf a while ago before Cata - I still got acc there maybe I will try it again in Cata. I was in guild Dignity and have to say that compared to guildless gameplay and relying on PUG's it's like 2 different games. Razz

Just started back on WoW with MoP, trying to get my lock (actually 85) to 90 and it is so painful. I realised that i hate questing so much...meh

WoW is based around Community and Socialism...Everything else is to bring those two things together (raiding for instance). Its a completely different thing if someone turns lifeless cause of his sudden craving for epics and to actually have more and better things than his friends. And that is the sad part of WoW and MMOs in general Smile.

Homm i heard MoP actually is way better than Cata in every way.

Sure got pokemon and some dungeon/raid challenge.

The reason i love cata as new player is because i play WoW abit on trial from scratch.
For some reason, i didnt properly upgrade that account but bought new one instead.

I level up another character, the quest are way more different than before and have many new wacky stuff (rather than kill/fetch quest).

However i heard leveling up pandaren abit boring, and magically they cant talk to each other anymore after certain level (i dunno when) after your faction chosen (also i dunno if you choose at character selection or decision in game). Main reason is because horde and alliance cant talk to each other.

Nevertheless, i really want to test MoP so badly Sad
