Speed Calculator Help

Post by buffaloburger on Tue Jan 28, 2014 7:10 pm

Most likely a dumb question here. I really want to be able to use this animation breakpoint calculator : http://www.medianxl.com/t55-speed-calculator-in-java?highlight=speed+calc

The problem is I cannot for the life of me figure out how to! I've downloaded it. I've attempted to extract it. I've scanned the files for any install .exe. I just straight up do not understand how to utilize this.

Can someone please explain to me what I must do to use this tool?

Running Windows 8 and Internet explorer. Have access to Firefox if needed. Refuse to use Safari and would prefer to avoid Chrome.

Please help and thanks in advance!

Well assuming you have java installed it should just execute when you double click on it.

You must have Java already installed and there is no need to install anything from what you downloaded. Just run "MXLSpeedCalc.jar"

simply double click MXLSpeedCalc.jar (it's an application). If it doesn't open, you need to install JRE.

you'll need to read up the "Mainhand weapon parameters: WSM" (weapon speed modifier) from the base items page and enter it when calculating attack speed. the main hand is the one that's not on the boot side.

as others said, install java runtime environment

What would the java runtime environment application name be? I want to hunt it down under my antivirus program and task manager to see if there is something blocking it. Something is not working correctly here.

lol

try running as admin
try uninstalling all java and installing the latest version from the official site again
if you have 64bit proc, try the 32 and 64 bit version
