[v6d] [WIP] Bransen - Disco Necromancer

Let’s Bring Back Disco!



(I know it looks terrible)
Introduction:

This build isn’t new, so I’m sure many of you have already seen this, but I thought I’d make a guide for it anyway. This build is based on the Disco Inferno oskill from the Eternal runeword. As a warning, this build is quite pricey. I’m far from an expert on MXL, and I’m quite terrible at videogames in general so forgive me if this build is less than “good”. I’ve said enough for now, so let’s get started!

Pros:
-Looks awful purdy
-Max block (lulz)
-Huge fire/phys damage
-Awesome

Cons:
-Very expensive
-Lacks rainbow damage
-Tends to lag slower computers (like mine)

Stats:
Str- Enough for gear. (though charms should cover it)
Dex- All, we need this for max block. Additionally, you will probably need all of your sigs.
Vit- None, Embalming will supply enough of this (I get 12k life with no stat placement)
Energy- None, Embalming will regenerate enough mana

Skills:
Embalming- Smax (Life, mana regen).
Talon’s Hold- 1 or smax (smax for a more defensive build)
Dragonfire Oil- 0 or smax (smax for moar fire damage)
Famine- Smax (massive lifesteal, and damage)
Death Ward- Smax (Defense and avoid)
Summon Shadow- 1 is enough
Graveyard- 1 is enough
Skillplan Bransen (Disco Inferno) (Necromancer, 2012 v005) (This is my skillplan, please note that it is 2012 not Ultimative, hence the extra skillpoints)

Gear:
(This will only include end-game gear, as this build is unplayable early or mid-game)
This is my choice of gear; I realize you could use other items.

Armor:

This build is centered around this item.

Weapon:

I use this for the procs and the huge dex bonus, which is needed for max block

Shield:

Proc and increased chance of blocking are the main reasons for this

Helm:

Pure ownage, no explanation necessary

Boots:

Use Zomghelp recipe, upgrade to rare, dex craft till you get a level 30 requirement with 8% dex, bless, add marksman umos, and fill sockets with perfect amethysts. (Credit goes to Prestoned for this one, I had no idea this was possible). Use this same recipe for gloves and belt.

Gloves:

See boots

Belt:

Use a dex craft belt, see boots (I’m working on making it, I just haven’t gotten around to it. OKAY!??!? Embarassed )

Amulet:

Gotta love that dex, the proc is awesome as well.

Rings:

Max life/mana, singularity on kill, lots of UMO space. Both of my rings are pretty much the same

Switch:

Purely for buffs

Sockets:
Not hugely important, shaad/jahs for weapon, the rest isn’t terribly important. If you’re lacking dex, use perfect amethysts. I use thais in my shield for res.
Lifesteal jewels are also a possibility, this one is my favourite:


Mystic Orbs:
I’m a fan of max block, so use marksman umos on everything once max ed (350%) is reached.

Gameplay:
1. Cast buffs, summon shadows
2. Spam disco inferno
3. ?????
4. Profit
Basically, cast graveyard, path of flames, tainted blood, bloodlust, summon a few shadows, and prepare to annihilate. Spam disco inferno and laugh as you proc and destroy everything in your path.

Summary:
I’ll work on adding a more detailed gameplay strategy, expanding the gear options, adding screenshots of my stats, etc. But for now, it’ll do. Criticism is welcome, as this is still a work in progress. However, this is my first guide so please be gentle (I’m sensitive). I will upload my current character save upon request.

just awesome guide with more than 30-35 MARKSMAN UMO used Smile dude dont want to be rude but this guide is FUNNY!!!

who on earth has 30-40 marksman umo ? even some1 has it why he use that umos in that kind of build ?

+ with decent def , los, around 10 k life(i assume you have/must have) reanimates etc. why you need max block ?

Some time ago, I user do 1 char called Tzeentch Rw, using Disco Inferno oskill.

You can modify your build taking new alternatives..For example:
Prowler's Slash

(Necromancer Only)
Required Strength: 414

Mega Impact
60% Increased Attack Speed
250% Bonus to Attack Rating
+750 fire damage
+750 lightning damage
+750 cold damage
-(40 to 50)% to Enemy Fire Resistance
-(40 to 50)% to Enemy Lightning Resistance
-(40 to 50)% to Enemy Cold Resistance
+(26 to 35) to Kraken Stance
Socketed: 6
Rainbow damage, stance, etc...

One-Hand Damage: (273-312) to (280-320)
Durability: 20
Required Dexterity: 454
Required Level: 100
4% Chance to cast level 13 Claw Tornado on Striking
+(4 to 6) to Druid Skill Levels

Adds 333-666 fire damage
Adds 333-666 lightning damage
Adds 333-666 cold damage

For rainbow damage, and on striking proc...wich autoactivate othr on striking procs....

iirc there was also secret runeword on necro's daggers with 50% quil spike on striking.

imho u dont need maxblock/most of the items listed to make disco necro effective.. i found the ssu crossbow hwannis hwacha to be most effective since it keeps screen permastunned.. and dont hav to worry about block this way since we hav lots of life and def, and HUGE life leech to compensate for it.. btw disco is very effective in the new sewers uber can clear whole thing in 5-6 mins without breaking sweat Very Happy

and MUS01, u can only keep disco on right click and not on left click, so stances are no use with it.. and although tzentech rw weapons are good with punisher proc i found the crowssbow to be best since u can also use 1 pt frag shot when u run out of mana for disco

Well in that case, If you're using Hwanim's hwacha, use it with !The Tranquilizer" Quiver. Withh that hits, it's sure which you can activate many punishers....Also gives a bit of CB, -poison res...An good item.

Tested this build and max block is impossible...with 6997 dex...
