Spirit of Vengeance bug

Does anyone know if it's a known bug that SoV causes D2 to crash?

I have tried asking this in the Bugs & Feedback thread and in the Short Questions thread, but there have been no answers.

I've been playing the game quite happily until today when I re-specced to SoV instead of Paragon and I get the crash within a minute of raising an SoV minion. If I don't use the skill the game plays fine.

NOTE: I have 15 elementals raised, but no merc. I don't think it's any kind of sprite limit - my sorc has 25 of its little minion things + merc.

yeh, its a known bug that mainly came after XII. Not much to do about it, since if Marco fixes it, then it will just appear somewhere else. afaik its an animation bug.... but that wont really help you

in version XII/XIII Sov DOES NOT WORK. in version XIV its supposed to be fixed.

Just tested it. XIV Works.

whats the use of the screenshot here actually? the bug appeared on death

EDIT: Bug still there, HALT ERROR on Death.
