Okay, not really a complete noob, but I still need help.

Post by JamieLynn7483 on Sun Mar 02, 2014 10:07 pm

So I got a new laptop with Win 8 and now Ultimative is acting REALLY laggy, even on SP... I would think it would run smoother on a new comp? Anyone have this problem and know how to fix? Thanks!!  Praying

Try switching renderers. Glide or D3D should do the trick.

Actually your absolute best solution is to find someone with an old P4 tower for sale with xp on it. My diablo box has integrated graphics and the only problems I ever run into are d2 engine induced which are unavoidable.

Thanks, everyone, but this is what worked. Cheers!  I was running it on compatibility and that didn't help, but now with Glide, as smooth as my old XP comp.  Thank you Zaphodbrx! Clap Clap
