Game version

Hello Smile
Yesterday i was playing the older median xl version (without catalysts, oils...) and my 118lv necro was easily pwning terror Fauztinville.
I noticed that i have an old version so i updated it, downloading the version from the site.
Ok. Im going to the same instance as earlier and im down in seconds !!! (/players 1 in both situations)
What was the reason? Is it harder or what ?

Basically yes, monsters are not level 90+- anymore, but 115 or something like that, which means greater attack rating, defense, life but also density and damage. So the main trick is to beat the shit out of mobs with some easier charms, medium gear and quick reflexes.

But I`m now ending destruction act 4 and it seems not to move anymore :/
So the only option is that i can farm uniques on hatred and uptier them to get some better gear ? :/

Better gear does not mean sacred uniques at all, that is big mistake. Sets are buffed o great in ultimative, casters can usually wear god crafts(300-500 shrines per gear piece) endgame, multihitters can benefit from tu items, like chain mail or heavy belt, non great rune runewords are also nasty(sur necro scythe, kra chest, kra zon javelin) and so on...

I`m already having a rathma set scythe, but tier uniques are quite accesible (if uptier recipe works properly Wink)
Farming Kurast 3000 is going fairly well for me even on destruction now

That build is incredibly friendly especially to Ultimative newcomers - having passive max life, slow target, reanimates, weapon damage from both passive and buff, life leech and even flat fire damage is hardly something you can get from items... Especially when scythe set is on the Top OP set lists, along with Creed and Adria.

Congrats on solid character and build choice.

since medianxl 2012, destruction and terror were merged to 1 difficulty (terror), so terror overall is pretty much harder. destruction is always level 120 monsters, concept taken from d3 inferno difficulty
