What would be better for leveling trap rat, bow druid, or treewardin?

They're all good, pick whichever you enjoy.

Short question thread... This section of the forum really just could be closed down with just the short question thread left open for new posts. 95% of questions fit in there anyways. Topics that don't fit in SQT will always fit in MXL general as well.

My god the topics are so bad. I think I've broken the all time iternet forum record for recycling useless topics.

Exactly what is the problem with newcomers opening new threads? Does Marco have to pay extra hosting fees for every thread made or something?

I get that it's more convenient to have just a single thread, but the way people act here it feels like making a thread to ask a question is some huge crime.  Thinking

My guess is clutter. Imagine if every question in the SQT had its own thread... That said, I personally don't mind it when new people make a new thread and are then directed to the SQT.

Right, like I said, it's a matter of convenience. Having everything in one place is more handy, but it's not like making a new thread for a simple question is the same as posting h4x or begging for loot. But it still gets "OMG! How dare you make a new thread instead of posting in the Short Question Thread!?", and usually from more than one person.  Laughing

Well if you think about it, putting everything in the SQT doesn't really reduce the clutter it just shunts it down a conceptual level. It might actually make clutter worse since there is no branching beneath the thread level.

The real problem is that people post question, in the SQT and new threads, without first attempting to do any research.
