If you are talking about the body armor RW with Auhe, I would probably say NO. 50% faster mana regeneration means 50% faster mana drain...

Wouldn't the Flamberge or Greatsword TU be better? I mean the slow would be nice yeah, but both the Flamberge and Greatsword TUs have 2 to nearly 3x the damage of The Overlord. Unless I'm missing something?

Also, doo the ravens from Harbinger pass on the "%slow melee target", or only the "%slow"?

_Wolf's defense isn't high (without Black Road)
_chance to avoid only works with melee
_on attack procs rarely works with Harbinger
_no boosting dmg in Wolf tree; mark of wild is useless without item's assistance

So, "slow' is one of the two main source of survivability. The other one is, of course, avoidance. "Slows target" works with both melee and rangers. It affects velocity (melee reaches you slower); hit recovery (monsters get stun longer); attack speed (they hit you less). I could not run Duncraig p8 in Hatred with those weapons that you mentioned, but I did succeed with Overlord. It may take longer, but as long as you Harbinger to smart spot, you will survive.

If you have Slow Target %, it will override any Slow Melee Target %.

So Slow Melee Target % is useless in this build.
It doesn't affect the monster you hit in melee (because it's overridden by Slow Target %).
It doesn't affect the other monsters on the screen (because it's melee only).

I'm very sure they don't, since they're missiles, not melee.

^^What Q-dog said. If it is missile based then %anything to melee target/%anything striking in melee/%anythng on attack only applies to the monster you actually targetted (but Harbinger being basically a pounce clone won't trigger on attack procs at all, at all)

Any tips for tackling the BRC? Particularly surviving through Fauztin/Tran. I'm sitting at 48k def and about 9k HP(with goodberry), so Tran is wrecking me as the werewolf dodge doesn't work vs missiles and I they still have a 28% chance to hit me.

I don't think I'll realistically be able to get them down to a 5% hit chance until I have lifeshield, as I tried respeccing traprat and even then with around (iirc) 150k def they still had around a 10% chance to hit me iirc.

^^The best defense in Tran for any character is reflexes, and friends. Reanimates, reanimates, reanimates.

Granted it is not the same situation but I have done the BRC solo with my Totem/Psi-Crown necro with exactly 864 defense. There are other ways of protecting yourself than high defense.

Although I agree with the 1st sentence, totems and especially autoaiming Psicrown skill don't require walking into melee range unlike werewolf Nope

Which is why there is a qualifying clause to that sentence.

A Shockwave Ranger with 100% chance to reanimate as Skeleton will make you lots of friends fast.
