Yes they're still working on it though. I heard it was good actually. All well. I tried downloading the Lilith Paths mod for Titan Quest and can't find that file on the internet for some reason. Hard to compare any mods or games to Median.

From d2 mods - Aftermath(ugly graphic but different from MXL gameplay. Unfinished), BFE (LoD based mod with some differences - no ubers/additional bossess).

From d2 clones - PoE ofc(abandon it about year ago because of my internet connection), Incredible Adventures of Van Hellsing(fun from start to the end but after you complete it once you'll probably never play it again).

i knew EXACTLY what did you post even before i opened thread :p i would like to play aftermath, but im pretty sure u cant pass past normal solo and they have no server... i remember they had random trashcan with 400 ping, which was off 5/7 days of a week. and those "sorry kids were playing, wife was watching porn" excuses made me so damn mad lol. wanted so hard to travel to usa and break this tard neck lol. or im wrong and i can do well alone too?
I tried that BFE long time ago, got 1 shot by zombie and that was my BFE exploring lolz
POE is trash, unbelievably boring gameplay.  Sad

D2 mod "The Black Parade" was very fun for me to play through.
Only act 1, buggy quest item doesn't drop at the end and the game crashes all the time, even after some tweaking...
But it was still different from MXL and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though the experience lasted for only a couple of days.

To be honest it's an aweful lot like cLod in some respect, such as the skills which are largely unchanged with few exceptions.
But monsters are a real threat and some bosses can be really tough and strategies have been mixed up, like the Blood Raven quest. The atmosphere is really great too, and there are some surprises, some edited maps and "hidden" stuff (like boss charms) to be discovered as well.

Let's just say the mod is creative and therefore worthy of recommendation. Razz
And you can easily find it on ModDB.

There are a bunch of good D2 mods available as D2SE plugins. The only one I play that isn't available as a plugin (easily corrected) is Valhalla. The most recent version is 5.03. My brother and I used to be part of the forum team there many moons ago. The mod hasn't been actively developed in years, but it's still fun. If you want to give it a try, I can zip up my folder - with the D2SE fix included - and drop it somewhere.
