Football Manager

Post by Wotan on Sat Jan 10, 2015 2:03 pm

All the way from CM'95 through CM'99-00 to FM2015.
Any Football Manager nuts besides me, here? I am personally stuck in FM 2008 for ages. Was always trying the newer versions and got disappointed really fast, plus I have had committed to my role (had 40 days of playtime when 2009 released).
These are the game series I have spent most of my gaming time on.

Few screenies taken moments ago.

Went through all the addictedness ratings till the last one:

The oldest active manager.:

The game got a bit buggy. I guess you are not supposed to get this far:

Its been a wild ride:

Hopefully there are more Football Manager fans in here, so we can have some heated discussions. Cheers!

I think this is the problem. Tongue 2

Anyway, I don't really know about that stuff, but an old teacher of mine used to spend his university life playing football manager games.
At least that's what he told me. Great story, isn't it?

This was never a problem at the official FM forum. If everyone is keeping it civil.
Everyone who has a great passion for football (and some brains), is essentially a FM maniac - like me. I'll post some more screens later.

This is with the original skin. Pretty terrible.
Random pictures from my spell at Chelsea:

I've lost so many pics due to few PC clean ups... I'll try finding the ones from when I was at Inter. If I can't I'll post some from my stay at O'Land.

Never been too interested in Football managers, but a football topic would be great I'm sure there'd be a lot of discussion.

Funny fact of the day: After 21 games in the Premier League, LVG and Moyes achieved the same number of points. However Moyes did it without spending £150m on "talent" and he got fired for it Very Happy

Yes, but van Gaal had to deal with a lot of injuries early season. Smile Moyes couldnt adapt his strategy to a big team. He is used to go deep defense and use 1-2 fast players to make his tactic work. I must say that van Gaal's approach is outdated. I see how the team performs and they are very predictable, even at the games they won with big difference.
