My advice for median

Post by mike385776 on Tue Jan 20, 2015 4:59 am

Median is a good MOD. We all like it

I have some advice.

1. High resolution

800x600 is too samll for now screen.
Unfortunately chinses have high resolution and 16k save BN for 1.13. But they didn't public.

2. low skill

At last , we always use a few skill. Too many skill useless.
We level up quickly from 1 to 24 ,and then just use strongest skill
I think some skill use for some boss ,just kill kill kill is boring

3. more fun

Fighting for equipment is too boring、We can make more games or events too have fun.
Like more random special monsters ,random maps ,the magic doors can transmit us form a secret place or connection UBERLEVELS one to other....

4. interface
Le Royaume des Ombres have beautiful interface. We can make better.

In a Word , just kill monsters is out-of-date,by thinking to kill, don't need so good operate, kill monsters can have fun is the future development

Well, the next release (SIGMA) is going to increase game resolution.

I think the only way to make all spells effective is to add a cooldown to each of them, so the player have to use them all instead of spamming only one .

I agree with you, i hate farming random monsters for hours to see an unique fall and figurate it's an useless one, but it's how most of diablo 2 mods work

Thank you so very much, Random New Person! Here we have been laboring senselessly in our delusion that our mod was absolutely perfect. Now comes a savior to point out the faults in this mod--which is more than evident that Marco just slapped together over a drunken weekend. Thank you, thank you, a thousand times thank you! The skies did certainly open up at your birth and shower down superior taste and intelligence.

*Note, if the above requires blue text for you to get the sarcasm, then consider a lobotomy.

It's pretty neat, yeah.

Don't tell me what I like... but yeah I'd say that people on this forum are probably fond of it.

Go on.

Actually, I'm gonna stop with the quotes here, as this is all really silly. Pretty much everything you said is already being worked on (or at least addressed) by the development team. You would know this if you had just scrolled down and read the different threads until you found the "MEDIAN XL: SIGMA - SIGMA Development Thread".

Also, these suggestions you made are very clearly things that have already been thought of by the modmakers. You really think someone who devoted this much time into making a mod wouldn't have already thought about implementing higher resolutions?

Not trying to be a dick, but it's just silly y'know? This didn't really need a response tbh, but it's late and I'm bored while downloading all the shit I lost. Neutral
