New question that popped up. Should my friend invest in spirit walk so that I benefit from his stances as well? Or is it not worth it?

it can be worth it. If you're a bowzon and your friend uses snake/eagle/kraken stance, bowzons get massive synergy from those.
if you're a bowzon and your friend uses bear stance, well that locks our your ranged skills. obvious problem with that should be obvious.

with the exception of bear stance locking out ranged skills, spirit walk is usually absolutely worth at least a point (i believe stance radius is increased through soft points so investing skill points may not be necessary). if not for the stances, then for the blink it gives you

I would be running a javazon. Also as of right now he's been maxing lion stance.

it'll certainly buff your damage, but the danger is it makes you way susceptible to getting blown up.

try it out and if it doesnt work out well, he can always respec Smile

This is very true! One of my first builds was a lion stance barb so I know full well how easy it is to get one shotted.

On the other hand I am maxing moon beam right now and figure that should have me covered with regards to the damage reduction penalty from lion stance.

It really isn't that terribly hard to offset the damage reduction penalty from lion stance, between Jitan's and Invictus you only have to come up with another 5%. Pair of cautious strike swords on switch and you are at close to 50% with just a little switching now and then. Fill those with Nih runes and the CS buff lasts a relatively decent amount of time.

I'll have to check out the cautious strike Swords for my friend. This is the first I've really heard of them. Thanks grim.

Wait, I thought we were talking about your barb. Sorry didn't read the whole thread. The Amazon will go with moonbeam.

Haha well in any case I can still recommend it for my friend so that he doesn't die and I can stay buffed by his lion stance. We're hoping to get this streaming on twitch soon as well.
