How in the heckie do I connect to battlenet? Details below

Post by DasEeoo on Tue Jun 02, 2015 3:15 am

Howdy doodly sonaroony. I've never successfully connected to the MedianXL battlenet thing, but I tried again today and.... it logged into my normal battlenet? No, I couldn't get into a game, but I was hella confused. When I tried, the game froze, and I am still at this very minute unable to close it fully. I'll probably have to restart. Anywho, is there a guide on how to do that? Sorry, I'm sure it's been asked before, but a quick skimming got me nothing. Thanks! Bow down prostrate

if you download the mod folder designed to be used with d2se, you should have no problems connecting to either. choose mxl ultimative when you want to play mxl and clod when you want to play clod.

also, if you can't close a game (and are running windows), hit ctrl+alt+escape to get to task manager, go to "processes" tab (it's called something different after windows xp, can't remember what it's called but it's still the same thing essentially), and close "game.exe" if you used normal icon to start it or "d2se.exe" if you used d2se to start it.

I'm not sure what a cookie is or how you give one, but I'd give you one if I could!

Unless I'm wrong, the D2SE version comes pre-packaged with the correct realm settings.

Why everybody doesn't just use the D2SE version is beyond me.

D2SE is a mod organizer for D2. You can switch to any mod for any Diablo patch at any time without interfering with each other.
It's real neat and it is even great to mod D2 with.
