Correct.

Mature intelligent people only weigh what is being said. Everything else is irrelevant.

you are irrelevant xD

well I have played this game/mod for countless years. And I can say, there are a lot of reasons people will say about each mode, but I like to keep it simple. There is a misconception, in my opinion, in the term "value" when it comes to this game. The value of the game is simply equal to the fun you have playing it.

What mode is more 'confortable'? Well SP is. You have PlugY, multires, no lag.
Does PlugY make the game more fun? No. It promotes twinking, which makes the game considerably more boring.
Does multires make the game more fun? No. Watching monsters 2 screens away standing still because they are unable to detect you, simply feels like you are exploiting the game mechanics (and you indeed are).

Realm has a lot of players, active and legitimate trade system and economy, a ladder, a channel.
Is the realm chat channel fun? It can certainly be. Diablo players are cool. They like weed and whisky.
Is a legitimate trade environment fun? Yes, trading is fun.
Is a ladder fun? Yes, competition is fun and thrilling.
Do realm ladder resets remove all the fun moments you had during a ladder? No, it just removes the characters.

Think about it this way. In 10 years, would you rather remember MXL as "the game where you managed to get a PlugY stash with a bunch of OP items that took you 5 years of uninterrupted ladder-free to get" or "a game where you had a lot of fun"? What I'm trying to say here is that complaining about ladder resets is just random, your characters don't have value, nor do your items. The value you get from this game is once again, the fun moments.

So if you're overall not some society-hater weirdo and your internet/location isn't more terrible than mine (tricky), realm playing has a lot more value, and thus, you should play there. Just my 2 cents.

Go into chat and ask if anyone wants to play.

Also, ladder is probably relatively dead at the moment since it's been on for so long (2 months now?)
