well still no idea 140K life rampagors die with BLOOD MOOR ARCHER 1shot arrow??? anybody else ideas? really stunned and shocked now... ok we all know that they are magic imm but why the hell all summons live OP long and rampagors die in 1 hit any hit even they die with words zero effort!

Farming fauzt and duncraig with summon necro is damn easy T-T what are u talking about...

My sp setup is:

max shadows, 1pts other summons. max death fury totem. max jinns. max embalming. max black mass. rest in frostclaw totem.

Gear are oriented for %minion life, %mf, %magic dmg, +all skills. And crafted staff with slayer oskill.

well, i used to farm there eyes closed with 90-80 k life rampagors and i never remember they die in omega 003-4-5, now classic crap archers or anything else 1shot ko 135 K life rampagors!!! 135k life!!!
well, what i am doing wrong then?

well your rampagors live in fauzt or somewhere else, mine dies in 0.1 sec with 135k life....
my setup is same nearly, but i use kraken stance shield and howling totem
btw how much min res i need in dest i got %180

180%? O_o i have 80%. Isnt it cap of minion resist from items?

Well my rampagors are just meatshields. Usually i dont even summon them. highest hp on minions are jinn ~65k hp. Minions dont die entirely from barrels in dunc somewhy. In fauzt they die pretty fast but it dont bother me much i just resummon and go on. Cant say that my necro is very good farmer but hes ok.

btw 100k defence from vizharan is pretty vital for me.

well my djinn has 102k life rarely dies well if meatshield doesnt live long we cant call them MEATSHIELD anyway.. they are crap now, cant beleive in my eyes i am %100 sure in omega 003 my ramapogor life was under 70k and i never recast them cause they never died...

well they dont die fromm barrel bcus they are imm magic... barrel -> 50 k magic dmg iirc
well i have 25k life i dont have survive problem but my summons not doing so well... pff Evil or Very Mad

140K life Rampagors getting 1-shotted??

That's just ridiculous, especially with that much res. They're supposed to be median's golems aren't they?

We kicked around the idea somewhere of giving summons certain defensive advantages so they can survive without breaking the life limit.

Iwan had the best idea, something like natural dr for all of them, to simulate more life

well if you dont beleive well i dont still beleive but 100k life djinn, 140 k life rampagors cant even live in BLOOD MOOR in 2 min !! its impossible! UNDER BLACK MASS

No, i believe it. There's no way you'd claim failure if it wasn't true Smile

Why a pure summoning necro can't work is beyond my understanding (apart from the uberskill thing, learned that the hard way with the ce reanimator). It's the main necro idea since vanilla d2 first came out, they summon and curse primarily.

They can still mimic curse necros with Bane (amp dmg) and Black Mass (like life tap). To an extent, Howling totem to cause enemies to flee too
